MUSE—A Guide to Local Arts & Culture celebrates and promotes the artists, arts producers, and cultural heritage of Nevada County and our two state-designated California Cultural Districts, east and west.
This high-end 8.5 x 11” annual publication features original content by local and regional writers, illustrators, designers, and photographers, with inspiring imagery highlighting Nevada County as the premier Northern California destination for arts and culture experiences. Featuring the best of the Nevada City-Grass Valley and Truckee Cultural Districts–including our unique downtown businesses and restaurants, performing arts venues, artist studios, and galleries–MUSE is the go-to guide for cultural tourists and locals in the Sierra Nevada foothills and Truckee Tahoe region.
In 2026, 10,000 free print copies of MUSE will be distributed strategically across the Truckee-Tahoe region, Grass Valley, and Nevada City, and widely distributed along the I-80 and Highway 20 corridors—from Sacramento and Roseville to Auburn, Rocklin, all the way to Reno, including visitor centers along the way.
